Dave is joined by Graeme Paine, co-producer of Vicar of Dibley and Pip Tyrrell, who plays Lettitia Cropley while co-producer Graeme also plays Jim Trott (no no no no yes).
The Vicar of Dibley is presented by John X and Graeme Paine OAM and featuring a stellar local cast, the on-stage version of the hilarious and heart-warming BBC TV sitcom The Vicar of Dibley will be performing at the Playhouse Theatre from 17 June to 2 July.
Featuring all the eccentric, lovable characters, including Alice, the blonde, dippy verger, Owen, the earthy, local farmer and the stuttering Jim who prefaces most remarks with no-no-no-no-yes! And, of course, there’s the unique, chocolate loving, rock n’ roll playing vicar herself*
The arrival of a new vicar shakes up the parish council of a sleepy English village – the vicar is female, gorgeously so, and with a decidedly irreverent attitude to religion! Dibley and its odd-ball inhabitants aren’t yet ready for 20th century progress – or the wind of change that is Geraldine.
The Vicar of Dibley is a stage play by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter adapted from the original TV series by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer. With kind permission of Tiger Aspect Productions and Comic Relief.
