Tourettes: I’m just like you

Robyn Latimer, President of Tourette Syndrome Association of Australia talks with David Wood about  Tourette Syndrome Awareness Week (8th – 15th May).


The facts are

  • Tourette syndrome has no known cure and affects approximately 44,000 Australian children – 1% of the childhood population.

  • ● 75% of children with Tourette syndrome will develop tics by the age of 11 and over 80% will also have associated conditions, including ADHD, OCD and anxiety.

  • ● The Tourette Syndrome Association of Australia (TSAA) are raising funds to support their annual children’s camp – to support and help children and families dealing with Tourette syndrome.
